'Vayattupongala'- this function is an offering to the sun god by the pregnant mother when she is carrying 7 months her baby. the function is only for the 'kadinjul prasavam' or the first pregnancy. this function is rather a sort of excercise and prayer for a safe and smooth delivery. The function is carried out in the husband's home. In these pictures aaradhya is offering prayers assisted by her mother in law Padmaja Devi and mother Leela Bhai Amma. The function is at Priyadarshini-Anoop's home in Trivandrum.
